The Historical Tea & Dance Society presents its Celtic Tea Social; Beginners welcome; No partner needed; Afternoon tea

The month of March is made for wishing upon lucky four leaf clovers along with listening and dancing to joyous Irish and Scottish tunes! Join callers KAREN KAHLER awarding winning Irish dancer and DARLENE HAMILTON for an afternoon celebrating all things Celtic through music, easy-to-do dances, and tea time. You are sure to leave with a skip in your step and smile on your face after hearing the wonderful music of RHYTHM METHOD.

12:30pm Dance Workshop
The Schottische with Victorian dance teacher Renee Camus.
In 1850, the Schottische (shot-teesh), a round dance appeared that swept the European continent for it's fun and easy styling. The Schottische was known as the “Bavarian Polka” however is lower-impact than the Polka. Come early to our event to learn this easy couples dance. No partner is needed as we change partners throughout the class.

Dance instruction and practice. Tea and comestibles will be served. Costume not required. Beginners welcome. No partner required. Admission $25.

Main dance starts at 1:30.
Dance class starts at 12:30 for an extra $5.
