From their Facebook event at:

The First Annual Forge Festival calls to you! This family-friendly event will feature all kinds of fun things to do and see, as well as food and beverages.

Come see blacksmiths forging hot steel live before your eyes!
Witness copper transformed into objects of wonder and beauty!
And to learn more, stop by our Ask-a-Blacksmith station - ask us anything!

The Festival will have a little something for everyone. There will be hot steel team striking, copper fold-forming, forging demos and an “Ask a Blacksmith” booth, so you can immerse yourself in all things metal in a beautiful natural setting at the award-winning Audubon Center. The Debs Park trails will be open as well for all to take a stroll through one of Los Angeles’ most beautiful parks with views of Downtown Los Angeles and the San Gabriel mountain range. But don’t let the vista distract you from the beautiful metal art we will have for sale or having the kids try some clay forging under the big pepper tree. And when you need a break, mosey over for some refreshments at the food trucks. It will be a fun packed day for the whole family!

The money raised at this event will be part of a 2018 capital funding campaign to purchase a new building as a permanent home, expand class offerings and do more community outreach. Adam’s Forge is one of only a handful of organizations of this type in the country, and with your help we will be able to thrive.
