Phony Daguerreotypes

To benefit the "Lanterman Music Fund" which supports the preservation of the Lanterman House music archive and the performance of live music at the Lanterman historic house in La Canada/Fintridge, I will be offering "Phony Daguerreotypes", for a tax deductible donation of $10, to those who attend the Lanterman Ragtime Tea Dance and selected future events at Lanterman House.

How it works:

1. We take your portrait, in costume, with a suitable background at the Lanterman House.

2. You make a $10 donation to the Lanterman Music Fund (checks payable to "Lanterman House Foundation")

3. In the days following the event, through the magic of Photoshop, I combine a period background and frame with the modern image of you to create a simulation of a turn of the century photograph.

4. I deliver it to you in digital format, suitable for printing or posting on the web.
